We all have a reason for being on this earth. We all have a purpose. Each of us has unique and special gifts to fulfill that purpose. GOD has equipped each and every one of us in a very special way that is specific to fulfilling HIS promise and HIS plan.
9 "GOD's secret plan has now been revealed to us; it is a plan centered on Christ, designed long ago according to HIS good pleasure. 10 And this is HIS plan: At the right time HE will bring everything together under the authority of Christ - everything in heaven and on earth. 11 Furthermore, because of Christ, we have received an inheritance from GOD, HE chose us from the beginning, and all things happen just as HE decided long ago. 12 GOD's purpose was that we who were the first to trust in Christ should praise our glorious GOD. 13 And now you also have heard the truth, the Good News that GOD saves you. And when you believed in Christ, HE identified you as HIS own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom HE promised long ago. 14 The Spirit is GOD's guarantee that HE will give us everything HE promised and that HE has purchased us to be HIS own people. I started Seeds of Hope daily devotionals, because I wanted to encourage those who were discouraged and give them a new found hope in our LORD. I get much joy and pleasure out of giving encouragement as I feel that without it, we are simply surviving in a shell that cries out for relief - for happiness and joy.
6 "GOD has given each of us the ability to do certain things well. So if GOD has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out when you have faith that GOD is speaking through you. 7 If your gift is that of serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, do a good job of teaching. 8 If your gift is to encourage others, do it! If you have money, share it generously. If GOD has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly." - Romans 12:6-8 - My gift is encouragement. Thus, Seeds of Hope was "born" as my way of sharing encouragement with others.
I enjoy writing and taking photographs of places my husband and I go on vacation. I wanted a way to share both GOD's Word and the beauty that HE so lovingly shares with us each day.
At Seeds of Hope we make encouraging and inspiring greeting cards, Christmas cards, and note cards among other things, out of the photos we have taken. My husband and I collaborate on the scripts and Bible verses that we put into our cards with the hope that whoever reads them will find hope when they feel hopeless, encouragement when they are discouraged, and inspiration where there is no hope or motivation within to succeed or overcome.
Take a look at our photo gallery and scripts perhaps there is one there that will encourage and even inspire you. Once you find a photo you like match it with one or two of our many scripts. Make your card a personal message from you - maybe you would like a script on the front of the card as well as on the inside - or perhaps you would like a picture to frame with an inspiring message - a mouse pad or calendar - the possibilities are almost endless. If you don't see an item you want, email me and let me know and I'll do my best to get it for you. Look around, get creative and come back as often as you like.
